Growing From a Solo Introducer to a Small Sales Team

Hiring a caller should never be your first move. Prove the model yourself first: document exactly where your leads come from and that people genuinely consented to be contacted, confirm the leads match your partner's requirements, and generate a small batch personally so you can measure your real conversion rate and average commission. A simple worked example: 100 permission-based leads → 60 people successfully contacted → 15 qualified opportunities → 5 completed sales at £100 commission each = £500 gross commission. Turnover isn't profit — subtract lead-generation costs, wages, phone/CRM costs, refunds or commission clawbacks, and tax before you know what you actually made, and remember these numbers are an illustration, not a promise. Only once the process is reliably profitable should you consider recruiting one trained caller, on a proper contract, with approved scripts, quality monitoring and clear outcome recording — never paying only for aggressive or unsuitable sales. Multi-user 'Team Mode' features in the CRM (staff invitations, caller accounts, manager quality checks) are on our roadmap, not available today.
